Tanya & Patrick
Where to even begin with this session? Should I start with how GORGEOUS of a woman (inside and out I might add) Tanya is, or the fact that a storm was blowing in but set the most perfect tone to their images, or should I start with how Patrick could literally be a stunt double for Gerard Butler? I'm pretty sure I could go on and on all day long about how amazing their session turned out but I'll just let the images speak for themselves.

Maternity sessions are one of my absolute favorite things to shoot. There's just so much raw emotion, and love, and happiness within them. Whether it be between the couple or the excited siblings-to-be running around while mom and dad stress about their poetic chaos. My most favorite part of these sessions is when I get to pull mama off to the side and capture some of her in all of her glowing glory. I've not shot a maternity session yet that the mom wasn't sporting a gorgeous glow and warm smile. My favorite pose is to just stand her alone and tell her to cuddle up to her belly. Ten times out of ten she'll get this warm, fuzzy feeling and just fall into the pose so naturally. Literal pure gold.

If I could give one word of advice to an expecting mama, it would be to invest in your memories. One regret I will always have is not doing a maternity shoot or a newborn shoot with either of my kids. Trust me, you don't want to look back and not have these images from one of the most precious and happiest moments of your life. If you're trying to make the decision of whether or not you should book a Maternity or Newborn Session, 1000% do it. Invest in your memories.
